Not Alone Even When You're Sick
Ladderman and Jumping Jack came up to the door to Balan's room and knocked on it. “Balan?” The former called out. “Are you awake?” A groan answered them and they looked at each other in worry. “Balan, what's wrong?” The kangaroo costume asked in concern. The door opened and they gasped in shock to see the state the maestro was in. The whites around his golden eyes were red and he looked teary-eyed. “Oh, good morning,” Balan said, but his voice was hoarse and he sounded congested. Even his dark skin looked pale. “Maestro, are you alright?” Ladderman asked worriedly. The tall being attempted a smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. “I'm alright,” he said before coughing into his hand. “Balan,” Jumping Jack said, also worried now. “I think you might have come down with something.” Eis came up to them, seeing that the three were there and he had been about to ask Balan if he'd watch Matthew, but then saw the maestro's state and deduced what was wrong. “Looks like you caught a
